01/10 RAMBLA DEL POBLENOU

Even though you will find the Ramblas in the city center of Barcelona in every tourist guide personally I don't think they are a must-do in this city. Far too crowded, full of tourists and souvenir stalls. Completely different the Rambla del Poble Nou located on the east of the Ciutat Vella, the old city in the Barrio called Poble Nou: far more locals than tourists, who barely get to this part of the city, authentic cafés and bars, beautiful houses and scenery and also street bands such as Radio Fanjul, a super cute band we came across when we were strolling around Poble Nou a few weeks ago. If you're interested you can listen to their music here, it's a mix of folk and world music and the band itself is composed of members from all over the world. It really gives you a great atmosphere when you wander around a city and you suddenly feel like in a movie. // Something big is coming up soon, I am proudly announcing that Cocomathilde is from now on not the only blog I will be working for and on but also I am soon corresponding with a really cool blog/magazine from a hotel group here in Spain. Will give you details soon and also, there is a post coming up about this soon! xx
